自1988年以来,各地认真贯彻国务院《中国残疾人事业五年工作纲要》和全国特殊教育工作会议精神,做了大量的工作,使我国残疾人教育有了较大的进展。 这里,我就最近几年残疾人教育(重点是残疾儿童少年义务教育)工作的基本情况和今后的任务讲几点意见。 1988年以来残疾人教育工作的基本情况 五年多来,我国的残疾人教育工作取得了显著的进展。 ——到1992年底,我国已有盲、聋和弱智学校1077所,在普通学校附设残疾儿童少年班1555个,在校学生12.94万人,与1988年相比,学校、班和学生人数分别增长了86.7%、159.6%和124.7%。大量的视力、听力语言和轻度智力
Since 1988, all localities have conscientiously implemented the State Council’s “Outline for the Five-year Work of the Disabled in China and the National Special Education Working Conference” and have done a great deal of work to make great progress in education for disabled people in our country. Here, I will make a few comments on the basic situation of the disabled education (focusing on the compulsory education of disabled children and adolescents) and its future tasks in recent years. Basic Information on Disabled Education since 1988 More than five years have passed since China’s disabled education has made remarkable progress. - By the end of 1992, China had 1077 schools for the blind, deaf and mentally handicapped. In the ordinary schools, there were 1,555 children and adolescents with disabilities, with 129,400 students enrolled.
