引言现在,要求一个自动跟踪系统用一部扫描速率约3或4秒的雷达处理约1或2千条飞机航迹并不算稀奇。为了满足这个要求,除数据处理外,亦即除实际用于跟踪的系统外,雷达系统的各级中都使用专门研制的设备。在许多系统中,数据处理级不专门研制,而使用通用计算机那样的通用设备。其专用性完全是通过软件设计实现的。这种做法,把跟踪系统的设计者从硬件和软件合一的繁琐设计中解放出来,因为那样做是花不来的。而且,后一种方法随着跟踪系统规模的扩大,可望获得最佳的性能。
