在中国大学英语课堂中,交际语言教学法的实施已经有超过20年的历史。尽管如此,交际教学法仍然是一个经常引起争议的话题。一些研究者和大学英语教师认为在中国当代外语教学环境下应积极提倡交际教学法,而另一些学者和教师则对交际教学法是否优于传统的教学方法持怀疑甚至悲观的态度。本文作者通过对中国某重点综合大学英语教学的案例研究力图发现影响交际语言教学法实施的有利与不利因素,并分析阻碍交际语言教学法的原因。笔者希望该研究能够从发展学生语言交流能力的角度给相关的教师、课程设计者予以有益的启发。
In Chinese college English classes, communicative language teaching has been implemented for more than 20 years. In spite of this, communicative approach is still a topic of constant controversy. Some researchers and college English teachers think that the communicative approach should be actively advocated in the contemporary Chinese teaching environment, while others are more suspicious or even pessimistic about whether the Communicative Approach is superior to the traditional teaching methods. Through the case studies of English teaching in a key comprehensive university in China, the author attempts to find out the favorable and unfavorable factors that affect the implementation of communicative language teaching and analyzes the reasons that hinder the communicative language teaching. The author hopes that this research can help teachers and curriculum designers from the perspective of developing students’ language communication ability.
