Professor Liu Nanshan from Beijing Normal University School of Life Science pointed out that core literacy is the target of curriculum design and the teaching goal of “grasping”. The discipline core literacy is the decomposition and landing of core literacy in the subject curriculum. The core of biology consists of four elements: life concept, rational thinking, scientific inquiry and social responsibility. Take the lesson of “Nutrients in Food” as an example to talk about how to penetrate core literacy in the teaching of each lesson.
