该项研究课题是上海市“七五”科技攻关项目“上海人民广场试点建筑研究”的一个子课题,其成果直接用来保证上海市人民广场大型地下停车场在遭受核袭击时人员及战备物资的安全。由大连理工大学工程力学研究所与上海市地下建筑设计院共同承担,于1991年12月通过鉴定。这项成果除满足该大型地下车库的设计需要外,还能应用于各类地下结构,作较为精确的受力分析,在保证地下结构安全的前提下,节省建设投资。
