Closed-loop control technique for motor recovery in patients with paraplegia is expected to improve the quality of functional neuromuscular stimulation. This paper studies the role of accelerometers in evaluating feedback parameters. Earlier we described the possibility of using the accelerometer (but not integrated) to measure the angle of the lower extremity. In this article, we use healthy human data to assess this method through error and sensitivity analyzes. For three potential sources of error: reference system, accelerometer and model assumptions, we found that the last source of error was the most important. The model calculations based on the data obtained from the Elite Video Motion Analysis System show that the evaluation error of the tetanic human plays a decisive role for the high frequency components (> 10 Hz) and for the low frequency components (<
