Objective To investigate the awareness and attitude of grassroots workers about intervention programs by investigating the related maternal and child health care related to the prevention of neural tube defects (NTDs) in Jiangxi (county / city) level, township (town / street) And whether it is often recommended to women of childbearing age to supplement folic acid and issued, to guide the supervision and other behavior. Methods Stratified stratified random cluster sampling method was adopted to select 29 counties (cities / districts) and 87 townships (towns / streets) in Jiangxi Province as the survey area, and questionnaire survey was conducted on the staffs at level 3. Results Maternal and child health workers in the tertiary networks in Jiangxi Province reached a certain level of knowledge about the folic acid supplementation project, but the prevalence was relatively low (75.4%) in high-risk groups (women of childbearing age who took antiepileptic drugs) in NTDs (71.6%) at the village (neighborhood) level; 99.9% of the surveyed staff considered that the project was necessary; and that the level 3 maternal and child health staff were well informed about the project publicity and education, the issuance of folic acid, Above, the rate of publicity and education and the rate of folic acid issuance were the lowest among the three levels (P <0.05). The reason was mainly that “women of childbearing age showed no acceptance”. Conclusion KAP is in good condition in the three-level staff in Jiangxi Province, but training on risk factors is still needed. It is suggested that the intervention of the medical staff at the county (city / district) level should be made clear and the responsibility of work should be strengthened so that the intervention projects can be effectively implemented.
