Fumigacin,an anti-microbial agent,was first isolated from the member of Cordyceps fungi by our group.And that its new cytotoxic activity against different human cancer cells was found during the screening process of antitumor drugs.In the present study,the antitumor effect in vivo of fumigacin was investigated in murine sarcoma S180 tumor-bearing mice.The fumigacin at different doses of 10 and 20 mg/kg·d didnt showed antitumor action in the S 180 tumor-bearing mice.
