★案情简介职工张某2006年9月进入某私营企业工作,签订了三年期劳动合同,合同到期日是2009年9月30日。2009年9月29日,公司突然通知张某,明天合同到期,公司决定不再续签。张某感到不能接受,虽然合同是正常终止,但公司没有提前一个月通知,应支付多一个月工资作为替代,同时还应该支付经济补偿金。公司人事部门解释说,劳动合同到期终止,不是单位提前解除合同,用不着提前通知,也无需支付经济补偿金。张某到市总工会上访,寻求帮助。
