玉米是我省主要粮食作物,播种面积约占粮油作物24％左右。它不仅是高产作物,而且在饲料及工业原料方面都具有广泛的用途。为了适应农业生产发展和人民生活的需要,必须探明我省玉米生产品种的品质状况和抗病情况,尽快选出优质品种、加快繁殖,积极推广、扩大利用。对实现粮食的优质、高产、多抗的育种目标,实行玉米优质种的区域化种植都具有重要意义。
Maize is the main grain crop in our province, and sown area accounts for about 24% of the total grain and oil crops. It is not only high-yielding crops, but also has a wide range of uses in feed and industrial raw materials. In order to meet the needs of agricultural production and the development of people’s life, we must ascertain the quality and disease-resistant status of varieties of corn produced in our province, select good quality varieties as soon as possible, speed up breeding, actively promote and expand their use. It is of great significance to implement the breeding goal of high-quality, high-yield and multi-resistant food and to implement regional planting of high-quality corn species.
