这篇文章主要介绍下述四个部分:一、从木材乾馏中,可以获得醋酸、木精、松节油、木焦油等贵重的化学工业原料。二、木材经过水解後,可以制成一种优良的碳水化合物饲料——饮料醣。这种饲料,在苏联现在已能用超声波,放射线的处理,以及用加苯的方法迅速地大规模地制造和供应。三、木材经过特殊化学加工后,造成了具有高度坚固性、防腐、防水性的材料,可以代替钢铁,用来建筑和制造机器零件。四、木材的纤维素可以利用来造纸,纺人造丝,木悄锯末还能制造塑膠等等。从这篇文章中可以看出:随着近代化学工业的发展,木材的利用已不再限于建筑材料和燃料;同时,先进的苏维埃科学和技术,是怎样为人类的幸福而服务。

Fourth, wood cellulose can be used to make paper, spinning rayon, wood sawing can also make plastic and so on. From this article it can be seen that with the development of the modern chemical industry, the use of wood is no longer limited to building materials and fuel; at the same time, advanced Soviet science and technology is how to serve human happiness.
