近年来，众多新型的远程教育模式纷纷崛起，对曾经在中国远程教育领域一统天下的电大教育形成了有力冲击。有论者指出，这种趋势势必引发远程教育实施主体的转移和各类教育机构在远程教育系统的重新定位。在此背景下，电大如何在总结以往经验的基础上更好地发挥自身的优势，在各种远程教育模式并起的新格局中准确定位，并以此为新的起点，制定新形势下的发展战略，加快改革进程，在未来远程教育的发展中起到应有的作用呢？本栏目热忱欢迎电大同仁和各界专家学者踊跃参加上述热点问题的讨论，通过研讨形成共识，理顺思路，为电大发展制定理性规划，并为解决当前存在的问题提出建议。
In recent years, many new modes of distance education have emerged one after another, which has exerted a powerful impact on the TVU education that once dominated the world in China’s distance education.
