Objective To investigate the psychological impact of perioperative nursing intervention on patients with multiple fractures of limbs and its clinical value. Methods A total of 128 fractures of extremities admitted from January 2015 to January 2016 were selected as the study objects. Sixty-four patients who underwent routine nursing intervention from January to June 2015 were selected as the control group. From July 2015 to January 2016, 64 patients undergoing perioperative nursing intervention were selected as the observation group on the basis of routine nursing. Visual analogue scale (VAS) was used to assess the degree of pain in patients. Zung anxiety and Zung depression self-rating scale were used to evaluate the psychological status of the patients. The incidence of complications and the satisfaction rates of the patients and their families to the nursing were compared. . Results The scores of pain, anxiety and depression in observation group were significantly lower than those in control group (P <0.01), and the complication rate in observation group was significantly lower (3.13%) than that in control group (15.62%) in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). The satisfaction rate (90.63%) of the patients and their relatives in the treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control group (60.94%), the difference was statistically significant Significance (P <0.01). Conclusion Perioperative nursing intervention on patients with multiple fractures of limbs on the basis of routine nursing can effectively relieve the pain, relieve the anxiety, reduce the incidence of postoperative complications and improve the satisfaction of patients and their families.
