As China joins the World Trade Organization and mainland enterprises start to push their strides to overseas markets, a phenomenon starts to emerge: overseas enterprises or individuals have started to register the well-known trademarks in mainland China and become the new entrants of Chinese mainland enterprises to enter the country or the region’s markets obstacle. However, enterprises in Mainland China are not sufficiently prepared to register their trademarks abroad for cybersquatting.
