低音提琴源于西方古代的低音维奥尔琴。在西方的发展可谓是历史悠久,早在17世纪便出现于各大教堂的圣歌团之中,但低音提琴的发展并没有想象中那么顺利,从不被重视到文艺复兴时期正式加入交响乐团,低音提琴的发展可谓是一波三折。它于二十世纪四五十年代传入我国,而这也使得低音提琴的演奏风格随着地域的扩展而变得丰富多彩。本文将以低音提琴的发展为线索,主要以低音提琴在乐队中起到的作用展开论述,并详细描述低音提琴在不同的乐队中起到的不同作用。最后分析该乐器的发展现状并提出必要的建议与展望。
