万叶树同志在《反复修改出佳作》(见《江苏教育》(中学版)1981年第2期)中,介绍了他指导茅玲芳同学按照生活的真实,反复修改作文的经验。它向我们提出了一个值得深思的问题:学生作文究竟可不可以有一点虚构?万叶树同志用自己的实践回答了这个问题,这就是应该允许学生作文中有一点虚构。我很赞成万叶树同志的有意义的实践,理由如下: (1)虚构是学生作文中源于生活的艺术概括,学生作文虽不同于作家的创作,但从文章反映生活这一点来看,两者有共同之处。既然要反映生活,纯粹刻板式地反映,文章“真”虽“真”,艺术感染力就不会太强。其实学生作文中的虚构早已存在。例如,同样是怀念周总理的作文,开头的写法就各有不同:有的是看到周总理的照片引起的回忆,有的是读了周总理的诗引起的回忆,有的是看电影后引
