听在人类交际活动中起着十分重要的作用。据美国外语教育家WilgaM.Rivers的统计,听、说、读、写在交际活动中所占的时间为:听45%、说30%、读16%、写9%。《九年义务教育全日制初级英语教学大纲》对英语听力也有具体要求,中考命题根据大纲要求普遍增设了10%左右的听力测试,极大推动了英语的听力教学。据调查,50~60%的学生表示对考试中听力测试很头疼。那么,是哪些原因防碍了学生听力水平的提高呢?
Listening plays a very important role in human communication. According to statistics of American foreign language educator Wilga M. Rivers, the listening, speaking, reading and writing time in the communication activities are: listening 45%, speaking 30%, reading 16%, writing 9%. The “Nine-Year Compulsory Education Whole-Day Elementary English Syllabus” also has specific requirements for English listening. The examination propositions generally add about 10% of listening tests according to the requirements of the outline, which greatly promotes English listening teaching. According to the survey, 50% to 60% of students said that they have a headache for listening tests. So, what are the reasons that hinder the improvement of students’ listening ability?
