《义务教育英语课程标准》(2011年版)指出:英语教学活动不应仅限于课堂,而应延伸到课堂之外的学习和生活中。英语的课外活动(包括作业)是学生英语学习活动过程中不可忽视的环节,是将英语教和学从课内延伸到课外的重要途径之一,是学生课外学习英语的重要手段,是学生独立地运用知识的初步实践,是评价课堂教学效果、检验学习效果的一种重要手段。大量的教学实践证明:对于农村小学的学生来讲,只有让设计丰富多彩的内容和教师对他们鼓励性、激励性评价,才能激发他们学习的热情和主动性,进而提升教学效益。因此,教师在布置作业时应力求促进学生全方位地发展,课外作业内容源于教材但不应拘泥于教材,应鼓励学生在实际生活中运用课堂所学知识,使学生通过完成作业提高学习英语的积极性和自信心,巩固所学知识,提高能力,发展个性。先笔者结合个人的教学实践,谈谈学生课外作业的类型以及处理。

The contents of extra-curricular assignments should be based on textbooks but should not be limited to teaching materials. Students should be encouraged to use the knowledge they have learned in the classroom in their practical life so that students can improve their learning English through homework Enthusiasm and self-confidence, consolidate what they have learned, improve their abilities and develop their own personality.
