泰勒式科学管理的做法,对于企业的经营影响甚为深远。科学管理的理论令人诟病的地方,似乎是过于偏向技术面的探讨,事实上,由字形上来看,“企”者无人则为止,就可知道员工在公司的重要性。现在人们又将管理的重心再次转回到员工的身上,主要讨论如何在组织内创造热情洋溢而且有高绩效生产力的员工。本文案例中推行的“共好”,是中文“一起工作”的意思,指的是人人以正确的方式做正确的事情,而且得到正确的报酬。要激发企业中每一个人的动机和团队精神,这一切背后力量的源泉乃是来自人性中的尊严和自尊心,而非传统上将人当作机器任意摆布或像奴隶一样,作贱、使唤。因此,如果企业要推行“共好”,就要学习“松鼠的精神、海狸的方式、野雁的天赋”。
