《中国语文》编辑部编的《语文教学篇目索引》,最近已由上海教育出版社出版。我作为本书编辑工作的参加者之一,觉得有一些情况是可以向读者介绍一下的。一、本书是由吕叔湘先生倡议编辑的,这在本书的“后记”里已经作过交代。我们在这里重提,是想强调下面的两个意思。(1)既要重视语言文字本身的研究,又要重视语文教学的研究。这两者辩证统一,相辅相成,不可偏废。这似乎无须多说,但事实表明,要真正处理好这两者之间的关系,也决非是件易事,在这方面,我们要向吕先生、王力先生等老一辈语言学家学习。研究语言文字的目的之一是要为语文教学服务;只有把语文教学搞好了,才能为语文的科研队伍源源不断地输送人才,把我们的研究工作搞上去。至于提高语文教学质量对于学好其他学科有多么重要的意义,那就更不用说
“Chinese Language” editorial department of “Chinese teaching index”, recently published by Shanghai Education Publishing House. As one of the participants in the editorial work of this book, I think there are some situations that I can introduce to readers. First, the book is edited by Mr. Lv Shuxiang initiative, which in the book’s “postscript” has been made account. We will repeat here to emphasize the following two meanings. (1) It is necessary to attach importance to the study of language itself, but also to the study of Chinese teaching. Dialectical unity between the two, complement each other, can not be neglected. It does not seem necessary to say more. But facts show that it is by no means an easy task to properly handle the relationship between the two. In this regard, we must give the older linguists such as Mr Lu and Mr Wang Li Learn. One of the purposes of studying the language is to serve Chinese teaching. Only by doing a good job of teaching Chinese can we continually bring in qualified personnel for our Chinese research team and carry out our research work. As for the importance of improving the quality of Chinese teaching for learning other disciplines, let alone
