Objective: To explore the impact of entering 4300m above sea level on cardiopulmonary X-ray in young people. Methods: A total of 168 young people in the same group who had been in the 4300m area for one year and returned to the plain for one year were photographed on the plateau at the positive and the lateral radiographs and compared with those before the plateau. Results: The diameter of the heart and the area of the heart decreased after one year on the plateau. The difference was highly significant (P <0.01). The width of the heart, the diameter of the heart and the volume of the heart were significantly increased (P <0.01) Atrial diameter, right atrium height, left ventricular wall thickness, lung area, ascending aortic diameter, aortic node diameter, pulmonary artery diameter, pulmonary artery segment and right lower pulmonary artery diameter increased, the difference was Highly significant (P <0.01). After returning to the plain one year later, the above X-ray indexes all increased compared with that before the plateau, the difference was significant (P <0.05). CONCLUSION: The entry of 4300m above sea level has a great influence on the cardiovascular and pulmonary vascular appearance of youths stationed in the area. After returning to the plain for one year, it is difficult to recover to the level before the plateau.
