现行初中全一册化学课本在讲到离子化合物时对离子下了如下定义:“这种带电的原子叫做离子(注①:带电原子团也叫离子,如硫酸根离子SO_4~(2-)、氢氧根离子OH~-)。(P.83)高中教材在讲到离子结构特征时,再一次定义:”离子是带电荷的原子团“。(见乙种本上册P.111、甲种本第二册、P.3)稍一推敲就不难发现,教材在给离子这一化学概念(术语)下定义时,将它与原子的概念混淆了。事实上,原子和离子是两个完全不同的
