一力学系统,在给定了力与初始条件后,按(?)力学定律就应该发生某一确定的运动。但这个运动是否能实际发生或发生后能持续多久,则要在进行运动稳定性分析后才能确定。所谓运动稳定性,是指:一力学系统在t时刻,其坐标、速度受到某种微扰而偏离原轨道,在t以后的时间内,如果该系统: 1.仍能回到原轨道或始终保持在原轨道附近运动(如相对于原轨道作简谐运动等),则我们认为该系统所作的运动是稳定的。 2.逐渐偏离原轨道,以致其轨道运动特征消失,则该系统所作的运动就是不稳定的。
