Hong Kong and Maucao are located in the southern part of mainland China on both east and west sides of the Pearl River Estuary, commonly known as Hong Kong and Maucao. Hong Kong mainly includes the three major parts of Hong Kong Island, Kowloon Peninsula and the New Territories. Together with the nearby Lantau Island and Lamma Island, the island covers a total area of 1,068 square kilometers. The area is composed of the Macao Peninsula and its neighboring Taipa Island and Luhuan Island with a total area of about 16 square kilometers. Although small in size and geographical location, Hong Kong and Maucao are quite important. They not only guard the gateway to South China, but also are the hub of traffic to China from Southeast Asia. Geographically, historically and culturally, Hong Kong and Maucao regions have always been part of the Chinese territory and have an inalienable link with the mainland. The data of prehistoric archeology have also proved that the relations between Hong Kong and Maucao and the mainland have a long history. From the prehistoric period of five to six thousand years ago, Hong Kong and Macao belonged to the same whole with the Central Pearl River Estuary (or Pearl River Delta) Material culture has a considerable identity, and
