单纯地掌握语言并不能保证交际目的的实现,文化差异会妨碍跨文化交际的正常进行。贵州省民族地区高校英语教学不应该局限于语言本身,更重要的是培养学生应用英语进行跨文化交际的能力。英语教学中的文化教学,不应是单向的国外文化教学,也应该包括作为中华民族文化重要组成部分的贵州民族地区文化的教学。本文分析了汉英文化的语言差异,以及由此差异带来的贵州民族地区高校英语教学中的问题,提出了贵州少数民族地区高校英语教育中提高和培养学生的跨文化交际能力的方法,希望对提高民族地区高校英语跨文化教育有所助益。
To master the language simply can not guarantee the realization of the purpose of communication, and cultural differences will hinder the normal progress of intercultural communication. The teaching of college English in Guizhou ethnic minority areas should not be limited to the language itself, but more important is to cultivate students’ abilities to use English to carry out intercultural communication. The teaching of culture in English teaching should not be one-way foreign culture teaching, but also should include the teaching of culture in ethnic areas of Guizhou as an important part of Chinese culture. This article analyzes the language differences between Chinese and English cultures, and the differences brought about by the differences in English teaching in colleges and universities in Guizhou ethnic minority areas, put forward the method of improving and cultivating students’ intercultural communication skills in college English education in Guizhou minority areas. It is helpful to improve intercultural English education in colleges and universities in minority areas.
