利用J2531半导体激光器、火柴、蜡烛,就可以观测到光在空气中发生偏折的现象。在距离墙壁几米远(3 m左右偏折现象就很明显了)的地方固定好激光器。点燃蜡烛,在激光器前慢慢晃动,可以看到墙上的亮线也会跟着晃动。为了尽量排除烛焰内可能存在对光的偏折有影响的物质的干扰,可适当降低烛焰的位置,使之始终处于激光器发出的激光束的下方。若能改用不会改变空气成分的热得快等电热器给空气加热,那就能更彻底地排除上
