考场内，踌躇满志的学生在奋笔疾书；考场外，家长焦虑不已。国人熟悉的这一幕在每年六月同样出现在伊朗。原来，伊朗与许多国家一样，高考成绩是大学选拔、录取学生的唯一标准。亲，你是不是觉得很安慰：原来高考不是中国学生的“专利”！
Anxiety Brought by One Exam
Iran National University Entrance Exam. The future of more than 1，086，000 students throughout Iran is determined based on their score in this exam. Six hundred and fourty-five thousand seven hundred and eleven 1）examinees are female， and 440，902 of them are male. The students were not the only one [sic] that were nervous on this day. Some parents were even more eager and anxious as [sic] a student.
Parent A： （via translator） My daughter is taking the exam right now. She’s worked hard for this exam. She’s done nothing but study this year. I want her to get good results. As parents， we have done all in our power to help her， putting her in the best schools， hiring the best tutors and giving her the support that she needed. I just hope she gets what she worked so hard for.
Parent B： （via translator） I expect my daughter to be beneficial for society. It’s not important for me what field she’s accepted in. I just want her to have a bright future and be happy.
Not all examinees are high school students. Some were accepted last year， but they are taking the exam again for different reasons， such as transferring or changing their field of study. These students have different opinions about the exam.
Student： （via translator） Last year I was accepted in chemistry. I want to change my field of study to architecture. The exam was easier than last year in general， but the physics and math part were harder this year.
There are five main fields of study in Iranian high schools—mathematics， biology， humanities， arts and foreign languages. Officials say that the results of National University Entrance Exam will be announced in August.

学生：（通过翻译）我去年被化学专业录取了，但我想改学建筑学。这次考试从总体上看比去年的容易，但今年的物理和数学两科考题都比去年要难。
