In the third volume of the high school book “The Quarterly will be cut down”, the phrase “Wasn’t Nire is too much?” is annotated as “Is this not your fault?” We think it is inappropriate. First of all, this kind of translation does not conform to the ancient Chinese. The linguistic habits of Mr. Yang Bojun pointed out in the book “Annotation of the Analects of Confucius”: “’Er is too’, it cannot be interpreted as ’the past,’ because ancient pronouns indicate that the leader has rarely added any other words.” The personal pronouns that express the position of the leader are placed directly in front of the nouns that subordinate people or things. For example: 1 Three people, there must be my teacher. (“The Analects of Confucius and Saying”) 2 My son wants to see my text It is known to Chen Zhi. (“Liu Zongyuan:” Answering Wei Zhongli’s book on the teaching of Buddhism)
