出生于1997年的澳大利亚少年Cody Simpson在6岁时便已表现出卓越的音乐才能，8岁时已经写了人生中的第一首歌。爱音乐的他11岁时在学校的音乐会上与一个女孩合唱了Jason Mraz的《I’m Yours》，该视频被放上Youtube后大受好评，也为他带来了星运。2010年，Cody Simpson发行了首支单曲《iYiYi》，随之首张个人专辑《EP 4U》面世。
　　《Angel》收录在Cody Simpson于2011年发行的专辑《Coast to Coast》中，轻快的旋律搭配清澈的嗓音，充分体现了澳洲阳光少年的开朗活泼个性。
