圣诞节到了，你吃火鸡了吗？不久又将迎来元旦，新的一年就要开始啦！一年来，你一定经历了不少，也吃了不少吧？一提到“吃”，我们就会想到“eat”。实际上，在很多情况下，“吃”并不需要用“eat”来表达。如在《儒林外史》第十一回中有这样一句：“好男不吃分家饭。”就可以译成：“Good sons don’t live on their inheritance.”
