《Zombie》是小红莓乐队(The Cranberries)最经典的歌曲。
The Cranberries被誉为爱尔兰音乐史上最伟大的另类摇滚乐队。长年饱受战乱之苦、本身又不屈不挠的独有民族性使爱尔兰音乐更具沧桑和悲壮。The Cranberries与同在这片土壤上孕育的U2乐队、Sinead O’Connor、R.E.M.乐队等一起，把爱尔兰音乐带向了世界。爱情、背叛、政治一直是他们的音乐主题。
主唱Dolores轻柔高亢，茫然若失的独特唱腔，是乐队的标志。这在《Zombie》里更是得到了淋漓尽致的表现，与粗砺的吉他和强劲的鼓声相结合，此曲宛如一个向战争发出的控诉！那种撕裂、那份真实，不是一般的、大众的。某则乐评曾这样说他们的音乐：“千万不要学会做作，那样，如果当听到他们的音乐的时候，我怕你会羞愧得无地自容。”
战争最可怕的地方不仅仅是生离死别、不仅仅是正义得不到伸张；看过《Zombie》MTV的朋友都知道，当见到那里的小孩以枪为玩具、以战斗为游戏直至悲剧发生在游乐场的时候，我们发现，战争的悲剧是小孩没有了童真，因为那意味着没有了未来，一切的死亡因此变得毫无意义了；战争的悲剧是人们对生命麻木了、不再敬畏了，那不是与战争的初衷——争取幸福相悖了吗？
