我校是一所普通初级中学,建于1977年。前些年由于多方原因,一直是一所后进校。1986年中考及格率只有45％,低于全市平均水平,而犯罪率却是全区最高的学校。1987年被定为北京市基础薄弱校。针对学校的实际情况。我们认为要想改变学校面貌,必须首先转变教育观念,端正办学指导思想,增强领导班子的凝聚力,调动教职工的积极性。经过几年的艰苦奋斗,学校摘掉了基础薄弱校的帽子。1991年被评为区先进学校、市级文明单位。1992年中考及格率达99.16％,优秀率44.6％,毕业率100％,20多名学生考上市重点中学。90 92年在市、区级竞赛中获团体和个人奖达50多次,2人获全国北方区无线电比赛优胜奖,3人在市地理学科竞赛中获奖,1人获市级科技读书征文一等奖。1992年
