尊敬的关注与支持幼儿发展与教育的各位领导,中国幼儿教育的各位领导、专家、同行,各位朋友: 首先,感谢你们盛情邀请我出席这次幼教史上的盛典——“幼教百年”活动。这是中国第一所托幼机构建立100周年的庆典,是幼儿教育事业发展的一座里程碑。能参加这一活动,我深感荣幸。我来自智利,南美洲一个地形狭长的国家。那里0～6岁儿童的总数达到1,401,667。智利的第一家托幼机构建立于1906年。今天,我很荣幸地作为世界学前教育组织的主席出席这一盛典。
Dear Concerned and Support Leaders of Early Childhood Development and Education, Leaders, Experts, Colleagues and Friends of Chinese Early Childhood Education: First of all, thank you for your kind invitation to attend this grand ceremony in the history of preschool education - the “Preschool Education for a Century”. This is the 100th anniversary celebration of the establishment of the first care-giving institution in China and is a milestone in the development of preschool education. I am honored to participate in this event. I come from Chile, a narrow terrain in South America. The total number of children aged 0-6 years old reached 1,401,667. Chile’s first childcare institution was established in 1906. Today, I am honored to attend this grand ceremony as the president of the world preschool education organization.
