Researchers at Japan’s Shibaura Institute of Technology, Department of Communication Engineering trial of a wireless digital display electronic thermometer. It uses a thermistor as a sensing element, converts the temperature change into a pulse signal, and receives it with a normal tachometer. The output of the sensor can be displayed linearly using a digital tube.
