The first domestic high-power transfer arc water-cooled metal plasma gun developed by Beijing Institute of Metallurgical Equipment developed by the Beijing Metallurgical Equipment Research Institute for continuous casting tundish was successfully tested on the plasma furnace in the third steelworks of Tianjin Steel Plant in mid-May. Two heat test successfully melted the two furnace heat-resistant molten steel, to achieve the desired goal.
