以Bi2O3/B2O3为主要助熔剂,用改进的高温助熔刑法生长出一种新型掺铋复合稀土铁石榴石(HoYbBi)3Fe5O12单晶.研究了磁光性能、法拉第旋转温度和波长特性.在10~110℃.单晶的法拉第旋转温度系数在λ=1.55μm时为4.6×10-4K-1,比YIG单晶的法拉第旋转温度系数小.在λ=1.55μm时,(HoYbBi)3Fe5O12单晶的法拉第旋转波长系数(FWC)为0.0048%,单晶的法拉第旋转几乎不随波长变化.单晶的比法拉第旋转很大、饱和磁化场低、这种新型(HoYbBi)3Fe5O12晶体很适合做温度稳定的宽带光隔离器的法拉第转子材料.
A novel bismuth-doped composite rare earth iron garnet (HoYbBi) 3Fe5O12 single crystal was grown by the improved high-temperature sintering method with Bi2O3 / B2O3 as the main flux. Magneto-optic properties, Faraday rotation temperature and wavelength characteristics were investigated. At 10 ~ 110 ℃. The Faraday rotation temperature coefficient of the single crystal is 4.6 × 10 -4 K -1 at λ = 1.55 μm, which is smaller than the Faraday rotation temperature coefficient of the YIG single crystal. When λ = 1.55μm, the Faraday rotation wavelength coefficient (FWC) of (HoYbBi) 3Fe5O12 single crystal is 0.0048%. The Faraday rotation of the single crystal hardly changes with the wavelength. The new single-crystal Faraday rotation, saturation magnetization field is low, this new (HoYbBi) 3Fe5O12 crystal is very suitable for temperature-stabilized broadband optical isolator Faraday rotor material.
