[Objective] To discuss the symbiotic mechanism between Gastrodia elata Blume and Armillaria mellea in tissue culture system.[Method] By culturing Gastrodia elata Blume in the medium with Armillaria mellea extracellular extracts,intracellular extracts and live Armillaria mellea in,respectively and analyzing the variation of the weight of Gastrodia elata Blume,the symbiotic mechanism between Gastrodia elata Blume and Armillaria mellea was investigated.[Result] Intracellular extracts of Armillaria mellea didn’t promote the growth of Gastrodia elata Blume,and the extracellular extracts and live Armillaria mellea were beneficial to its growth,whereas the effect of live Armillaria mellea was stronger.[Conclusion]It is concluded that living Armillaria mellea could favor the growth of Gastrodia elata Blume more effectively.
