试验模型是以黄埔新港二期工程所用的扶壁作为原型,按照一定的比例进行制作,试验时,在模型的后面填砂,同时,进行土压力量测。通过试验,得到如下结果:1.由于回填砂和扶壁壁面之间的摩擦作用,作用在板壁的侧向土压力的实测值与按古典理论(库伦和朗金)计算的土压力值有很大的差别。2.扶壁肋的摩擦作用使得作用在立板上的侧向土压力大大降低,同时作用在底板上的垂直土压力也比其上载压力小得多。3.作用在肋背斜面上部和中部的实测土压力比朗金土压力稍有增加。
