In late August 2012, the national pork (lean meat) average price of 14.67 yuan / kg, the price difference of 7.66 yuan / kg. The highest price of pork in Tibet reached 20.33 yuan / kg, the lowest price of pork in Qinghai Province, only 12.67 yuan / kg. Prices of pork in Tibet, Shanghai and Hainan were higher than 16.137 yuan / kg (over 10% of the average price). Prices of pork in Hunan, Shandong, Qinghai and Liaoning were lower than 13.203 yuan / kg (below 10% of the average price).
