In recent years, the use of large-scale wallboards in industrial buildings has gradually increased. To summarize the seismic performance of industrial wallboards, and to accumulate experience in the design of future seismic zones using industrial wallboards, in 1976 we were affected by the earthquake in Tangshan Yifengnan. The investigation of the damage of industrial buildings using wall panels in the city was conducted. The investigations included six single-storey factory buildings built with industrial wallboard, three single-storey cold storages with a total area of 33,000 square meters, and two buildings under construction, with an area of approximately 1,940 square meters. These buildings are located in the urban areas of Tianjin and Tanggu District. The seismic intensity is 7-8 degrees or 8 degrees. Used and under construction
