华建厂五车间空压机房有空压机四台,设备比较陈旧,其中三台是卧式老机器,漏油比较严重。老工人陈定九等同志为了减少浪费,充分利用油料,就从机器油路内部进行改革,在空压机连接处开一小孔,接上一根橡皮管连通油桶,这样使机油不再外漏,全部涌向小孔,流进油桶,下班后再把油桶存油倒入油池继续使用,起到一定的节油效果。在此基础上他们又再接再励群策群力,终于革新成功一条漏油回路装置,使空压机油在完成活塞行程后,经过回路循环,仍流入油池,做到了节约用油,其节油数据如下:
