课堂教学机智是指在教学过程中面对千变万化的教学情景,迅速、敏捷、灵活、准确地做出判断、处理,保持课堂平衡的一种心理能力.它是教师智能的灵活性与机敏性的统一,是一种“应急”的智力活动过程.它要求教师运用教学机智,针对偶然事件的干扰,改变教学计划,重新拟定教学方案,确保教学过程的顺利进行.它是一种处理教与学矛盾的教学技巧,是教师对于教材、学生的掌握程度和教学水平高低的标尺,是教师个体教学风格的外化和升华,是较高层次的教学艺术.
