英语句子通常有两种语序:一种是主语在前,谓语在后,称为自然语序(natural order);另一种是谓语(或复合谓语的一部分)在前,主语在后,称为倒装语序(inversion)。使用倒装语序基于两方面的原因:一是语法结构的需要,二是修辞上的需要。在语法需要时,倒装是必须的,否则会出现语法错误。在修辞需要时,倒装是任意的,目的是为了强调,如果不是修辞上的需要,句子可以还原成自然语序。
English sentences usually have two orders of words: one is the subject first, the predicate is called the natural order, and the other is the predicate (or the part of the compound predicate) before the subject is called the inverted Inversion. There are two reasons for using the flipping order: one is the need for grammatical structure, and the other is the need for rhetoric. Flip is required when the grammar is needed, otherwise there will be syntax errors. When rhetorical needs, flipping is arbitrary, the purpose is to emphasize that if it is not rhetorical needs, sentences can be reduced to natural language order.
