“The people who make up their minds are better than the ones who want to care for them” (see the junior high school language book “For Learning”). The teaching is translated as “People are determined to pursue studies. Isn’t it better than the poor monks on the Sichuan border?”. This solution was easily accepted by people at first glance, but after reading the book “To learn a new book”, the author believes that this translation owes to the understanding of “僧”. Because of this, the interpretation of the entire sentence is also inaccurate. First of all, the meaning of “僧” is contrary to the author’s intention. Peng Shi borrows the second book from the book “To learn a lesson.”
